In an effort to maintain the safety of library patrons and staff, as well as Digital Bookmobile staff, we have decided to pause the Digital Bookmobile tour. Events from March 12 through April 18 are cancelled. We hope to resume on April 20, in Florida. Follow us on Instagram for further updates.

About the Digital Bookmobile

Aboard the 53-foot-long Toterhome, you’ll learn how to borrow an ebook or audiobook and so much more; all you need to get started is a library card!

A high-tech update to the traditional Bookmobile, this community outreach vehicle is for public libraries and schools to promote their digital catalog of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and streaming video to their communities. Readers of all ages can learn about and engage with digital books at their local school or library inside the Digital Bookmobile. The traveling exhibit tours North America and contains several interactive learning stations. All Digital Bookmobile events are free to host and attend.

Life on the Road

Creative ways local libraries are supporting their communities from a distance

Recently an unprecedented amount of libraries started closing their doors to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19. In typical library fashion, dedicated library workers haven’t taken their temporary closures lying down. Not only are most, if not all, libraries extending lending periods and suspending late fees on borrowed materials, they are continuing to serve their […]
