About the Digital Bookmobile

Aboard the 53-foot-long Toterhome, you’ll learn how to borrow an ebook or audiobook and so much more; all you need to get started is a library card!

A high-tech update to the traditional Bookmobile, this community outreach vehicle is for public libraries and schools to promote their digital catalog of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and streaming video to their communities. Readers of all ages can learn about and engage with digital books at their local school or library inside the Digital Bookmobile. The traveling exhibit tours North America and contains several interactive learning stations. All Digital Bookmobile events are free to host and attend.

A TV displaying your library’s name and logo welcomes readers of all ages onto the Digital Bookmobile.

Interactive workstations provide video tutorials to help guide readers through the borrowing process. Log on to your library’s digital website and explore. See how easy it is to borrow your next great read, digitally.

Get a one-on-one tutorial from OverDrive’s technical experts or one of your library’s staff members. Bring all of your questions about accessing ebooks, audiobooks and magazines on your device. Our experts will have you reading in no time.

Stop at the gadget gallery to explore a variety of devices. Ebooks, audiobooks and magazines can be accessed on all major computers and devices including iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ phones and tablets, Chromebook™, Kindle® (US only) and Kobo.

Libraries can use our theater for staff training, story time, or other special events. Readers can enjoy the theater space for additional video support to learn the borrowing process.
