Happy National Bookmobile Day 2019

A common assumption people make when they find out we work in the digital reading field is that we no longer read in print format. However, if you walk into any one of our staffers’ homes, you’ll find that couldn’t be any less true. Just ask to see my beat up copy of When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. My first read through I christened its pages with greasy pizza fingers, and on my third I dropped it in the bathtub (silver lining, you can still smell the lavender bath bomb).

Truth be told, we care about spreading reading happiness, no matter the format. So, in honor of National Bookmobile Day we would like to feature the traditional bookmobiles some of our partners use to create better access to their print collections. They may not have a 70’’ touchscreen TV inside, but after a visit from these 5 bookmobiles, patrons can still discover their next great read.
